Dear Reader,
Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Rabbit (a nickname given to me by my husband). Rede means advice or council. Rabbit's Rede is a divinely inspired Introduction to Truth for the twenty first century woman. Many of my teachings are from the vein of Florence Scovel Shinn who was a Truth teacher and author in New York City in the early 1900’s.
Truth refers to the true teachings of Jesus Christ and The Bible, although let me be clear that I am not religious. I am a deeply spiritual woman. I believe in God, although you are welcome to use your own preferred term such as The Universe, Divine Intelligence, Spirit, Source, or the name associated with your particular religion or spiritual practice.
For me, Living in Truth means drawing close to my higher power through my prayers, writing, thoughts, and words to co-create a better life and a better world for myself and others. We do this through understanding spiritual law which is often called universal law. When we practice spiritual law we are “welcomed into the kingdom” where we live under grace and are free from karmic ties.
I aim to help the modern woman deepen her relationship with her higher power, herself, and all those she holds dear through practicing spiritual law. The practice of spiritual law is what truly cultivates the energy or vibration which harmonizes our lives and creates miracles.
There is much talk of “energy” these days for we now know that we are all composed of energy and we emit a frequency which acts much like a vibrational signature. Through our vibrational signature we are more or less “signing off” on what we wish to experience in our life. We are told we need to meditate, and practice gratitude and affirmations, and while this is all true and beneficial, the root of the equation is the understanding and practice of spiritual law. It is through honoring spiritual law that our meditations and affirmations “work”.
The most essential element of spiritual law that we must learn in order to experience grace is love. The “golden rule” which is echoed across religions and cultures is do unto others what you would have them do unto you. However, we now know that our energy is cultivated from our internal thoughts and emotions, not just what we do on the external. For example, if you are nice to someone’s face, but cursing them internally then you are not actually practicing love, and not practicing spiritual law. For your internal thoughts are emitting a vibration which is drawing its equivalent to you. Meanwhile those negative thoughts and feelings of anger or resentment are transmitted out to the collective. We have to understand that what we think and feel affects others as well as ourselves.
This is why so many modern gurus preach about self love, because when we love ourselves we are loving God and we are loving others. In turn when we are loving others we are also loving God and loving ourselves. This is the essence of spiritual law. It is a two way street. It does not matter how many times you repeat the affirmation “I am a goddess” if you are going around judging others. On the contrary, to truly emit the frequency of a goddess you must affirm “I am a goddess, and so is she, and so is she…”. You must also feel love and kindness when you say it or think it, because the whole purpose of the affirmation is to shift your internal state. This is why it is important to use the affirmation that “clicks” as Ms. Schinn would say.
If I leave you with anything today let it be this - When we honor the divinity in others, we are honoring the divinity in ourselves and we are emitting that loving frequency to the collective. As I said before, this is the essence of spiritual law. It is through understanding spiritual law that we can begin to practice it, and it is this practice in our daily life which truly cultivates the vibrational signature and faith which creates miracles within us and all around us.
